$8,400-$13,875 - The country fee is set by the facilitating organizations in each country. The fee includes background investigation and identification of child, social services, accepting legal responsibility for the child, work with government and agency authorities, legal fees, child care, medical expenses, and, in some countries, passport and US visa fee’s (refer to individual country fee schedules) in the child’s country. A portion of this fee must accompany dossier to country for processing. This fee is generally non-refundable.
Humanitarian Aid:
$500 - This donation may be a tax deductible contribution. The Humanitarian Aid Donation does not count towards the Federal Adoption Credit. CCI will use this fund to support humanitarian efforts to improve the quality of life for the children in the country who are not being adopted.
