Program Highlights

• CCI’s China program accepts married couples only. We believe it is important to make every effort to find Christian homes for these children, who might never hear of the love of Jesus Christ in a Chinese orphanage.

• Both parents must be at least 30 but under 50 (55 for special needs) at the time the dossier is submitted to China
Number of Existing Children of Adoptive Parents

• No more than 4 minor children in your home (5 including the adopted child.)

Traveling to China Traveling to China

It generally takes a total of 12 - 18 months to complete an adoption from China, from initial application through travel. Once your dossier is submitted to China, you will wait 12 months for a referral, and then travel 1 month later, staying in China for 2 weeks.
