The following is a list of available humanitarian aid projects in which Celebrate Children International is currently involved. You can scroll down and click on the Project's name if you want to do a donation.
Celebration Gifts
Due to the ever increasing cost of shipping items to Guatemala, the Humanitarian Aid Team has made a decision to purchase all of the gifts for Celebration Gifts in Guatemala. During the second week of December, the Team will be traveling to Guatemala, to meet with the caregivers of the homes in which we work, to purchase gifts specifically for the children in their home. This will also allow for a more “specific” gift for each child. During our visits this past year, many of the children requested tennis shoes. For those children who desire a pair of new shoes above all else, we can make their Christmas wish come true!
If you would like to make a donation to our Celebration Gift Christmas fund, you may do so through PayPal or by sending a check made out to Celebrate Children International. Please indicate on the check that you want the money to be used for Celebration Gifts.
As in past years, we will be planning special Christmas parties and events with all of the homes in which we partner.
Adoption Humanitarian Fee
The adoption humanitarian fee is a tax deductible contribution to CCI. This $500 fee is used to support humanitarian efforts in your adopted child’s region of origin. CCI believes that for every child that comes to the United States for adoption, there are many remaining in the foreign country that need resources and support services to improve their quality of life. This is an opportunity for you to directly affect those efforts.
Financial Contributions
The needs at all the orphanages are great and ongoing. CCI’s Humanitarian Aid Coordinator remains in contact with orphanage directors to assess ongoing concerns and how they might be met. At this time, 100% of all contributions go directly towards the purchase of items needed for the children and the orphanage. Donations can be made on line (via PayPal thorough our website) or by sending a check via regular mail
