Four times the laughter!
Jeremy, Joshua and Jayden welcomed their new sister, Jordyn home just a few weeks ago.
Our plans to adopt again began on our plane ride home from adopting our twins, Jeremy and Joshua, from Cambodia in June 2002. This time, we knew, we would adopt a girl. When we returned home from China with Jayden in August 2005 little did we know we were not finished adopting.
Still feeling like our home was not complete we were led one more time to adopt another little girl. Since our other two adoptions were in Asia, we were instantly drawn back there for this adoption. This time the country would be Taiwan.
We had a wonderful social worker and program coordinator, Julie Erwin. She and the CCI staff lead us through the entire process and gave us updates along the way. We felt like they shared the experience with us every step of the way. CCI’s excitement joined with ours the day we received our referral and continued to the day the phone call finally came telling us when we would be joined forever with Jordyn.
Jordyn is a bright happy little 17-month-old who keeps us on our toes and the family laughing as she entertains us with her smiles and jesters. We have been truly blessed with the adoption of all our children! Thanks to Julie and CCI for helping us complete our family.
