Yu-Hsiang is a gentle, independent boy who lives with a foster family in Asia. He currently is in grade school and excels in reading and writing. Yu-Hsiang is very comfortable interacting with children his own age but becomes insecure and very shy when around adults. He suffers from Nephrotic syndrome but takes medication daily to control his urine pro. This child’s fees are reduced to encourage adoption into a good home. Pictures and sometimes a DVD are available to highly interested families. Home study required but INS approval is not necessary for assignment of this child. New rules in Taiwan state that parents must now be between 30-40 years at the time paperwork is submitted to the country. Singles may no longer adopt. For waiting children, couples may be older than 40 but it will be handled on a case by case basis.
